Dr. Sean Goolsby

Family and Children's Dentist

I was born in Kotzebue, Alaska, the son of a bush pilot/carpenter/dog musher. From my earliest years, I remember thinking that traveling by bush plane or dog sled was completely normal; it was how everybody got around, wasn't it? Growing up, I had a very extensive outdoor life, frequently hiking, camping, mountain climbing, and exploring with my family.

I was the second-born of ten kids, so the joys and chaos of living in a large family are very familiar to me. I married my true love, Becky, in April of 2003 and then began what I didn't know at the time would be a decade of intensive university attendance and professional development, eventually leading me to a career in dentistry.

I have two beautiful children, Simon and Hannah. They bring so much joy into my life! I would say that my family is my top priority.

I love music, movies, and food (side note: Minnesota brought poutine into my life - and for that, I will be eternally grateful). I love to laugh. You'll find that I have an unusual sense of humor. I’m big into board games, Star Wars, and all things geeky. I love being so far out in the wild that you would have no hope for rescue if you needed it. I LOVE the ocean!

I believe one of the highest virtues anyone can aspire to is compassion. It gives me great honor and a sense of humility to experience and witness the process of healing as my patients, and I set goals and work to achieve them.

Receiving any type of medical or dental treatment is challenging - at times even intimidating - and I understand that. I promise to always treat you with compassion and with an open ear to hear what your concerns or personal challenges are. I am committed to doing anything within my power to make sure you have the best possible experience while you are here.

Dr. Adam Hildebrandt

I graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry with Distinction. In May of 2022, I got married to the love of my life, Ciara. We enjoy attending MNUFC soccer games, agate hunting, and spending time/being active with our rescue dog Lucy (an 8-year-old Aussie mix). I also enjoy recording and performing original music under the names Bark Point and Adam Brandt (you can listen to my original music on any streaming platform). I was born in Arizona but have called North St. Paul MN home since 2001. I played NCAA Division 2 baseball at Concordia University St. Paul for four years. I graduated summa cum laude from CSP majoring in biology and minoring in chemistry. Lastly, I am currently serving in the Minnesota Army National Guard in Charlie Med 134th BSB. 

You can expect to be treated and welcomed like family. I will use the latest technology and customize treatment to meet you where you are and to be there for you to achieve your oral health needs and goals.

Dr. Miles Knutsen

Dr. Miles Knutsen is a dedicated dentist at Borealis Dental Wyoming, where he is passionate about providing exceptional dental care and improving patient oral health. After completing his dental residency with HealthPartners, Dr. Knutsen is excited to bring his knowledge and expertise to the practice.

A graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, Dr. Knutsen developed a strong foundation in dental science and patient-centered care. He completed his undergraduate studies at Marquette University, where his interest in dentistry flourished. 

In his free time, Dr. Knutsen enjoys golfing, cooking, connecting with friends and family, and is an avid Minnesota sports fan. Committed to building strong relationships with patients, Dr. Knutsen creates a welcoming and comfortable environment at Borealis Dental and looks forward to serving your dental needs.

Dr. Mike Tchida

Dr. Tchida grew up in Forest Lake, Minnesota, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from North Dakota State University, where he met his wife, Taylor. He went on to attend the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, graduating in 2020.

Dr. Tchida is passionate about helping patients feel confident in their smiles. He finds the transformations he achieves with his patients incredibly rewarding and is dedicated to providing thoughtful, high-quality care in a comfortable environment.

He currently lives in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin, with his Aussiedoodle, Olive, and his Labrador, Joe. Outside the office, he enjoys exploring local trails with his dogs, fishing and spending time up north, playing pickleball with his wife, and cheering on the Green Bay Packers.

Jenny

Office Manager

Jenny is a powder keg of administrative awesomeness. Her degree in public health and 13+ years of experience in the dental industry has helped her develop a love of all things tooth-related and ensuring patients can get the very best out of their treatment benefits. Her commitment to physical fitness has paid off in spades with all the running back and forth throughout the clinic she needs to do with all her myriad responsibilities. She definitely gets her steps in! Speaking of running, she has run multiple marathons and loves to play golf.
